Spare Mic – Use a second/friend’s iOS device (iPhones & iPads) as a wireless microphone when recording videos
iOS devices capture great quality audio when recording videos however as you get further away from your subject, the sound quality suffers. Spare Mic lets you use a spare/friend’s iOS device as an external microphone for your videos. It works up to 10 meters/30 feet making it the perfect wireless mic solution for content creators in all disciplines: filmmakers, on-camera presenters, news-gatherers, vloggers and more. Whether you’re doing an interview or just shooting a video from further away, you will sound as if you were inches away from your phone.

The audio from the device you use as your microphone is streamed in real time and when you are done recording your video the audio is auto-synced, so there is nothing else you need to worry about, such as transferring files between the devices.

You can export the videos* you have created to your photos library and then share it with the world.
* Exporting videos without watermark requires an in-app purchase. In-app purchases are required only on the device you use to export the video.

Custom branding, subtle visualizations and Interruptible Foldback require the Journalist package in-app purchase. Time Sync requires the Studio Package. Packages are in hierarchy, e.g. Journalist package includes all the features of the influencer package, studio package includes all the features of the journalist package and so on.
